This year has been full of interesting advances in the world of mobile computing. Netbooks have come into their own. We’re seeing ultraslim laptops that are more powerful than netbooks, but cheaper than ultraportables. Nvidia rolled out its first Ion-powered netbook, the HP Mini 311. Dell’s Z600 shows off some genuine tech implementations and paves the way for the future. Not surprisingly, these machines–and many more–made their way into PC World’s Top 100.
